Condolence From: Johnson Family
Condolence: What a sweet name for a sweet child. No parent should ever have to lose their child. That is why God has promised to comfort you as you mourn and strengthen you. It is our hope that maybe your family and other families affected by this horrible event may be able to draw strength from one another as well as the whole world. Sending love from Alabama and the hope that the words at Revelation 21:3, 4 & Isaiah 25:8 will be added to your thoughts.

Condolence: Little Olivia is not gone forever. The bible says that those in God's memory will be brought right back to life in the future. You're in my prayers, and I hope it's comforting to know that she is in God's memory.

Condolence From: Sister Hughes
Condolence: Dear Engel Family, Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss. Reading her obituary, I could not help but think how truly special Olivia was. I pray that you will have the full support of your family and friends to get through the days and months ahead. The Bible tells us “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves. [Psalms 34: 18] God’s word the Bible promises that by means of his kingdom, “death will be no more.” Imagine that! It goes on to say, “Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore the former things have passed away.” [Revelation 21: 3-5] I pray you will find some comfort in these scriptures. The Bible tells us “For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.” [Ecclesiastes 9:5] So she is not suffering nor is she in any pain. She is at peace. Please review these scriptures in your personal copy of the Bible. May the “peace of God that excels all thought…. by means of Christ Jesus”, help ease your pain. [Philippians 4:7] [Psalms 83:18] Sincerely, Sister Hughes

Condolence From: B.N.
Condolence: I wanted to express my sincere condolences to the Engel family. I was very sorry to hear of Olivia's falling asleep in death. I can only imagine how devastated the family is at this time, so I wanted to share some encouraging words with you from the Bible. Never did Almighty God purpose for our loved ones, our children, to be taken away by the enemy death, living an unspeakable pain in our hearts. He does purpose to awaken those asleep, like Olivia, in the memorial tombs to a life of eternal blessings, peace, and freedom of wickedness and violence, on a Paradise earth. (John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:9-11) This is not a mere dream, but a reality. May this hope bring you comfort and strengthen you to endure this difficult time. (Psalm 147:3)

Condolence: Please accept our sincere expressions of sympathy. We are so sorry for your loss of such a precious little one. Losing a loved one in death is such a painful experience. This is a pain that Jehovah God promises will one day no longer exist. How comforting it is to know that Almighty God has not only the power but also the desire to resurrect our love ones. Please read John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:3,4 in your own Bible. As you await the fulfillment of this promise, may you always cherish your fond memories of your precious Olivia.

Condolence From: Mrs. Washington
Condolence: Dear Olivia Engel Family, I just wanted to express my deepest condolence to you over this terrible tragedy. The bible foretold at 2 Timothy 3:1-5, that "In the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here for man would be lovers of themselves,..disobedient to their parents, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, without self-control, fierce, betrayers, headstrong.." just to name a few, so this is why these types of senseless terrible things are happening in this time we are living. But our loving wonderful god Jehovah has put in place a chance for us to see our loved ones again by means of a future resurrection where at John 5:28,29 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgement." I hope these scriptures can be a sense of comfort to you during this horrible time, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely, Mrs. Washington

Condolence: You are not dead. As a matter of fact nobody ever dies. You want to know why? Because you're going to live inside everybody who ever knew you, everyone you ever touched no matter how little. And the people who love you- your mom, your dad, your brothers, sisters, your friends at school- they're never going to stop thinking about you. Or talking about you. They're never going to forget you cause that never goes away. You're never going to die cause you were loved. Because you loved. You're going to live forever. We all will." Tim McDonough

Condolence From: Randall
Condolence: Dear Sandy Hook community: As I'm sure many of you feel the same, I need to say my heart aches for everyone involved. I've cried daily for the families, children and staff of Sandy Hook Elementary School. As a firefighter/paramedic for the past fifteen years, I've seen some tremendous things in life but none such as this. I'll never forget that immediately after learning of the events that morni ng I was scheduled to read to my daughters kindergarten class. As I read "How The Grinch Stole Christmas", once my favorite book, I couldn't help but think while reading, how much I'm going to hate it from that day forward. As I sat reading to thirty beautiful kids, I fought to hold back my tears. The innocence, love and unconditional joy filled the air as I read to them. They had no knowledge of the days happenings and not a care in the world. It truly made me realize how much we take tomorrow for granted. I've always been a believer in living for today, but this opened my eyes and heart for living for the moment with my kids. Cherish every moment! I've spent the past four days looking into my children eyes wondering what I would do if I were in those shoes. Everyone with children need to love and hold them unconditionally. The residents and family around there might not feel it or realize it, but those children and teachers didn't die in vein. The world will be watching their families and looking up to them in time of tragedy as an example of the importance of love, family, and community. I wish I could afford to donate, hug or help anyone there. But know in my heart you will all live on! you've reinforced my love of family and friends. Everyday I look at my children you will be thought of. Live on little angles, spread your wings and fly free! I hope you watch over all of us, and educate us in times of need! You will never be forgotten! Randall Antos

Condolence: Karen Taylor Good wrote this song "Precious Child". I find it so appropriate for these children. In my dreams, you are alive and well Precious child, precious child In my mind, I see you clear as a bell Precious child, precious child In my soul, there is a hole That can never be filled But in my heart, there is hope 'Cause you are with me still In my heart, you live on Always there never gone Precious child, you left too soon Tho' it may be true that we're apart You will live forever... in my heart In my plans, I was the first to leave Precious child, precious child But in this world, I was left here to grieve Precious child, my precious child In my soul, there is a hole That can never be filled But in my heart there is hope And you are with me still In my heart you live on Always there, never gone Precious child, you left too soon, Tho' it may be true that we're apart You will live forever... in my heart God knows I want to hold you, See you, touch you And maybe there's a heaven And someday I will again Please know you are not forgotten until then In my heart you live on Always there never gone Precious child, you left too soon Tho' it may be true that we're apart You will live forever... in my heart My thoughts and prayers are with little Olivia's family and little friends. Our hearts are broken by this tragedy. What a beautiful precious child. We love you Olivia!

Condolence From: The Bellini's Family
Condolence: Just wanna bring with your permission, a word of hope in this sadness moment. Please, have your hearts opened for the marvelous promises spoken by Jesus: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4 Also: "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes", says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them." The next moment she opens her beautiful eyes and shows this wonderful smile, she will see Jesus coming in the clouds and taking her with you all, to live eternal life. This will be a tremendous moment and we need to be prepared to be part of it. May the Lord comfort your hearts, renewing the great hope of the resurrection morning. We, from the Brazilian Seventh-Day Adventist Church have been praying since that horrible Friday morning and we won't forget praying for all of you.

Condolence: If tears could build a stairway and thoughts a memory lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. No Farewell words were spoken, No time to say good-bye, You were gone before I knew it, And only God knows why. My heart's still active in sadness And secret tears still flow, What it meant to lose you, No one can ever know. But now I know you want us, To mourn for you no more, To remember all the happy times Life still has much in store. Since you'll never be forgotten, I pledge to you today, A hallowed place within my heart Is where you'll always stay. Thoughts and prayers be with your family in your time of loss.

Condolence From: Paul R. Perry
Condolence: WHEN GOD CALLS LITTLE CHILDREN" When God calls little children to dwell with him above, We mortals sometime question the wisdom of his love For no heartache compares with the death of one small child Who does so much to make our world, seem wonderful and mild Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold, So He picks a rosebud, before she can grow old. God knows how much we need them, and so he takes but a few To make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view. Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try, The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye." So when a little child departs we who are left behind Must realize God loves children, Angels are hard to find. Milford MA
