Beverly "Bev" (Robbins) Walker passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 3, 2014. She was born in Farmington, Maine January 5, 1923, the daughter of the late Gerald and Ethel Robbins. She was predeceased by her husband, Carlton Walker, 2002. Surviving Beverly are her children Roger and Suzanne (Tuke) Walker of Longmont, Co. and Janet (Walker) and Charles Huot of Newtown and 5 grandchildren, Laura (Walker) Nixon of Longmont, Co., Holly Walker of Washington, DC, Tim Walker of Denver, Co., Mark Huot of Philadelphia, Pa., Rebecca Huot of NYC, and 3 great grandchildren, Avery Rose Nixon of Longmont, Co., and Walker and Ellie Huot of Philadelphia, Pa. Beverly retired from her home based market research company before moving to Sun City Center, Florida where she enjoyed 20 years of retirement. She learned to play golf, played bridge and entertained many family and friends in her Florida home. She and Carlton enjoyed many summers at the family camps in Mt Vernon, Maine. Her great cooking and love for fresh vegetables and lobsters will be remembered by many. She has loved, been loved, and will be dearly missed. Arrangements were made by Honan Funeral Home of Newtown, Ct.
A graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Farmington, Maine in July of 2015. There are no calling hours. In memory, please donate to your favorite charity.
