Michael T. Meehan, 85, of Newtown, died February 14, 2015 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mike was the beloved husband of Ann (McPherson) Meehan. He was born in Bridgeport June 8, 1930 the son of the late Michael and Anna (Sheiner) Meehan. Mike loved sports, especially the Yankees and Giants. He enjoyed going to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. In addition to his wife he is survived by a sister Dorothy Taylor, nephews Kevin and Brian (Wendi) Taylor all of Fairfield and nieces Joann Lavin of Madison and Kathleen Meehan of Shelton. Mike was one of the good guys and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Mike’s family wishes to thank the caring staff at the Bridgeport Hospital surgical intensive care unit.
