Obituary for Nancy Lou Schoch (Wormley)

Nancy L. Schoch 75, of Sandy Hook, CT died in peace on Feburary 15 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was born April 20 1939 in Youngstown OH to the late Thelma Marsh and William Wormley. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Donald, two daughters, Deborah Whitham of East Falls Village, PA, Laurie Elison of Colorado Springs, CO: and four grandchildren, Adeline, Colin, Christian and Sydney. In addition Nancy is survived by two sisters, Jacquelyn Carr of Colorado Springs, CO, JoAnn Landon of Houston TX and a brother John Stewart of Streamwood, IL. Nancy enjoyed spending summer’s picking wild blueberries and raspberries at their cabin in Northern Minnesota. For many years she was employed by the Taunton Press in Newtown as a customer service rep. She was a cofounder of the Mrs. Jaycee’s Fayetteville/Manlius Chapter in upstate New York. A Memorial Service will be held Friday March 27, 2015 at 11:00am in the Newtown United Methodist Church, 92 Church Hill Road, Sandy Hook, CT. A Reception will follow. Memorial donations may be made to The Connecticut Hospice Inc., 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405 www.hospice.org Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown is serving the family.
