Eloise Daly Miller, 97, of Danbury passed away March 12, 2015. She was born in Stamford on December 19, 1917 the 13th child of Thomas and Margaret (Kennedy) Daly. Eloise graduated from Stamford schools and married Richard David Miller on November 21, 1938. He predeceased her in 1983. Mrs. Miller lived in Greenwich for more than 60 years before moving into assisted living in Newtown. Most recently she was a resident of Hancock Hall Nursing Facility in Danbury. Eloise enjoyed volunteering at Greenwich Hospital for many years and hosting many fun filled Saint Patrick’s Day parties. She is survived by her three children, Eloise DiCandido (Joseph) of Newtown, Susan Conover (Kenneth) of Riverside and Dr. Richard Miller (Joan) of Greenwich. Mrs. Miller is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday March 16th at 11:00am in St. Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Rd., Newtown. Interment in St. John Cemetery, Darien will be private. Family and friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown Sunday March 15th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
