Philip was born on January 31, 1968 in Port Chester, New York. He graduated from Newtown High School in 1985 and went to Franklin Pierce University where he met Lisa Goulart and soon after they were blessed with three wonderful boys. His children remember him as a kind, driven father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Philip was a generous and dedicated man who loved his family more than anything. Kindness radiated from him. He put his heart and soul into anything that he did. He was an accomplished contractor and Carpenter and will be remembered by the homes and work he created. He would often show his children his work throughout the greater area. He was an avid fisherman and took pride in his love of reptiles that he shared with many.
