Bernice A. Griffin, 67, of Orange passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 29. Born on August 30, 1947 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Stella (Hanzlik) Robinson. She was preceded in death by her sister Carol Velez, her sister Jo-Anne Lang, and brother Guy Robinson. Bernice lived in Orange for 38 years and had a passion for caring for animals. She is survived by her son Thomas Cantillo, her daughter in law Marie Tamburro Cantillo, her son Stephen Cantillo and his wife Lori, her daughter Cindy Cantillo, her son Robert Griffin and wife Amy Griffin of Newtown and grandchildren Matthew, Stephen, Tyler, Connor, and Madison. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday July 2nd at 10:30am in St. Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, CT where all are welcomed to celebrate her life.
