Message to the Family: I was honored and blessed to be Julia's friend. Julia was an extraordinary and devoted public servant, working all hours of the day and night, to diligently serve her constituents and the state of Connecticut. Regardless of her busy schedule and public duties, she always had time for her wonderful family and friends. I will miss her always. Rest in peace, my dear friend.
