Condolence From: Karen Tichy, Esq.
Condolence: Julia was always there for her friends with her sage advice and her many acts of kindness and generosity. She was a tireless public servant, known for studying and researching the issues and always making informed decisions. Julia worked continuously to fulfill her many responsibilities to both her constituents as State Representative in the Connecticut General Assembly and to the state of Connecticut as a member of the Board of Pardons and Parole. Julia loved Newtown and did everything possible to support her community. She was primarily responsible for the transfer of the Fairfield Hills property to her beloved town. Julia was a remarkable woman and a great and loyal friend. I was blessed and honored to be her friend. Sending my deepest condolences to her wonderful and loving family at this very difficult time.
