Georgia Ann (Stefanik) Streck
October 22, 1935 – December 12, 2016


Georgia Ann Streck, 81 of Plymouth CT, formerly of Monroe passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday December 12, 2016.

Georgia was the beloved wife of the late Henry Streck. She was born in Bridgeport and resided in Monroe for 52 years. She spent the last few years at Cook Willow Nursing Home in Plymouth CT. Georgia worked most of her life at Dupont Sorvall in Newtown.

Her husband Henry and her daughter Sharon predeceased her. She is survived by her sons Mark Streck and his wife Betsy of Newtown CT and Jeff Streck of Phoenix AZ, her grandchildren Christie Mello, Kerri Filek, Courtney Mello, Jennifer Starnes, Derek and Haley Streck, her great grandchildren Grant and Brady.

Calling hours will be held at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown on Friday December 16, between the hours of 4:00PM and 7:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 17 at 10:00 AM at the Honan Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown
