Martin Van Buren Amidon IX of Newtown passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2017. He was a devoted husband and father. He leaves behind his loving wife Victoria (Hooten) Amidon and adoring son Martin Van Buren Amidon X, brother Daniel Amidon, mother Diane (Olsen) Millar and stepfather Gary Millar along with many extended family members including his Gnome brothers and sister. He is predeceased by his father Martin Van Buren Amidon VIII.
He touched the world with his music and brought smiles to the faces of everyone he met.
Calling hours are Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
