Sharon Foley Passmore passed suddenly in West Hyannis Port, MA on Friday April 21, 2017.
Sharon was born on July 1, 1953 in Bridgeport, CT to Thomas J. Foley of Stratford, CT. and the late Dorothy Sheehan Foley. She resided in Newtown, CT and attended St. Rose Grammar School, Immaculate High School and graduated from Newtown High School. After attending nursing school in Danbury, CT she moved to Dennisport, MA. where she married the late Thomas Passmore. She worked in nursing for many years at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA.
In addition to her father, Sharon is survived by her sister Michelle Foley and niece Jennifer Foley of Dennisport, MA., her step-mother Loretta Foley, step-sister Mary-Jane Yacovone and husband Al of Hamden, CT and step-brother William Hamilla and wife Elizabeth of Bridgeport CT. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles, as well as many cousins and second cousins. She will be dearly missed by her best friend Amy Travis of Marston Mills, MA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 10, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Rose Church, Church Hill Road Newtown, CT. Interment to follow at St. Rose Cemetery.
