Condolences

Condolence From: Chris Pfund
Condolence: I meet Peter at Chucks Triathlon introduced by Steve Tarpinian back in the eighties. I raced the race for a number of years and Peter was always a friendly face. Over the years our paths crossed many times usually while hanging with Steve. I last saw him at my race in Montauk with Steve and last spoke to him after Steves passing. I know that those two are now racing together again. Chuck was an icon and trailblazer in the world of triathlon and all of us at Event Power will miss him. RIP my friend.

Condolence: A warrior has fallen.
Peter was my introduction to triathlon and a welcome face on the many, many weekly visits to Chuck's with my children. He is missed.
Especially for Peter and all P.A.L.S., he will be remembered and honored next week during the 270 Mile Bike Ride from Boston to Greenwich in search of a cure for A.L.S.. I will carry Peter's notice with me every mile of the ride.
Rest in Peace my friend.

Condolence: There is only one word I can use to describe Peter. Courage. He never gave up. He never complained. We have all lost a great friend ,a great leader, someone who taught me so much about life. I am so greatful that he let me into his world. I believe Peters last minutes were of himself riding down a steep hill, getting too the finish line. He won the race of ALS, and now he is ready too start a new race somewhere else. I will miss you my friend. And I will love who you were forever. You are my hero

Condolence: My condolences for the loss of your Brother.
The bible gives a hope at Jo 5:28,29 where God will remember our dead loved ones and will bring them back to life on earth so they can enjoy living forever. Ps 37:11,29.
Soon God will wipe away all tears and death and pain will be no more. Rev 21:3,4.
May you find comfort in these promises.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about Peter's passing and just saw the post on facebook. I spoke to Peter a few months ago and he gave me guidance and encouragement on a video I was making about Steve Tarpinian (a good, long time friend of peter's who took his own life in 2015). Peter's spirits were good and he was an inspiration for me. May he Rest In Peace. I hope Peter and Steve are reunited in heaven and swimming, biking and running together, just like old times.

Condolence: To Mary Beth and Fred:

I hope Peter is drafting the fastest guy in the peloton right now, but I suspect everyone is drafting him.

Perk: Be at peace, my old friend.
