Anna was born June 23, 1928 in Budapest, Hungary, daughter of Sandor Gabor and Anna (Kondor) Gabor.

Her family left Hungary at the end of WWII in 1945 and spent three years as refugees in Austria before taking an opportunity to go to Brazil where they arrived in 1948. She married Tibor Cseh in Brazil on Dec 23, 1950. Their two daughters were born in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Throughout the 1960's Tibor's career as a Chemical Engineer moved the family anumber of times to places including: Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Mexico, Rio de Janeiro, and eventually the United States, where they settled in Midland Park, New Jersey in 1968. They connected with Hungarian communities wherever they lived, and were always involved with the Hungarian Scout Association (KMCsSz). Anna was especially proud of her leadership roles in Hungarian Scouting in Austria and South America and was a founder of the first post-war Hungarian Scout Troop in the Americas in Rio de Janeiro. They were also active members of the Hungarian Communion of Friends (MBK) and spent many years at the week-long annual MBK conference at Lake Hope In Ohio.

Anna became a travel agent in the 1970's and retired from corporate travel at age 70. Memorable trips included Hawaii, Bermuda, Brazil, Hungary, and Transylvania. She moved to Newtown, CT in 2007 where her favorite pastime was gardening at the home she shared with her daughter and son-in law. More than anything else, she enjoyed family gatherings.

She is survived by her daughters Pearl/Gyongyi (James) Pope of Oakland, NJ, Tucsi Cseh (Ken) Krizan of Newtown, CT, five grandchildren, Paul (Sarah), Kristina (Zoltan), Joseph (Kristina), Thomas (Kassandra), and Katherine (Aaron), and three great-grandchildren, Sara, Juliana, and Sophia. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Silvana, niece, Lilian, and nephew, Sandor of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
