Condolence: My deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Daniel Barden. Such acts of violence only show the truth that we are in fact living in the "last days" (2 Timothy 3:1-5). However, John 5:28 speaks of Jesus promise of a resurrection of our loved ones. You can look forward to seeing and holding Daniel again. He will return to life on earth under perfect conditions and the wicked will be no more (Psalms 37:9-11). I hope this brings you comfort at this difficult time.

Condolence From: Linda Harrison
Condolence: Seeing the picture of your beautiful little boy grieves me. I hope you will find comfort in the scriptures knowing that your lovely child is very safe now in God's memory even though it was not His Will for such a horrific act to cause his death. Perhaps it will comfort you to know that even though his life right now has been temporarily ended, he will be among those who will be resurrected for Jesus Christ did not die in vain, nor was he giving us false hopes when he said at John 5:28: "All those in memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" This resurrection will be for the billions who have died to live in a beautiful paradise right here on this earth, when all the wicked will have been removed. (Psalms 37:9-11) We are living deep in the last days of this wicked system of things when it was foretold the behavior of this generation that we are living among. (2 Timothy 3:1-5) So know there are better times ahead for righteous mankind when we can live the real life that Jehovah God wanted us to have in the beginning before our first parents rebelled. Read and comfort yourselves with the scriptures that will give you hope (Rev 21:3-5)

Condolence: I wanted to extend my deepest sympathies to the Barden family. I was very sorry to hear of Daniel's falling asleep in death. May the comfort of Jehovah God surround you as you cope during this difficult time. (Psalm 147:3) Remember the resurrection hope for the future. It's not a mere dream, and it's a hope that one day soon you can hold Daniel in your arms again and embrace him in a new world, under peaceful conditions. ~John 5:28,29;Psalm 37:9-11. My prayers are continually with you.

Condolence From: Sister Hughes
Condolence: Dear Barden Family, Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss. Your baby boy is so precious. I pray that you will have the full support of your family and friends to get through this. Brighter days are ahead. A day when all of our loved ones will be resurrected; the Bible refers to this awesome hope as the Resurrection Hope [Act 24:15] says “I have hope toward God which hope these [men] themselves also entertain that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” The Bible tells us that “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves. Many are the calamities of the righteous one, but out of them all Jehovah delivers him.” [Psalms 34: 18, 19} God’s word the Bible promises that by means of his kingdom, “death will be no more.” Imagine that! It goes on to say, “Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore the former things have passed away.” [Revelation 21: 3-5] I pray you will find some comfort in these scriptures. The Bible tells us “For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.” [Ecclesiastes 9:5] So he is not suffering nor is he in any pain. He is at peace. Please review these scriptures in your personal copy of the Bible. May the “peace of God that excels all thought…. by means of Christ Jesus”, help ease your pain. [Philippians 4:7] Sincerely, Sister Hughes

Condolence: We, like so many, would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family of this beautiful little boy Daniel. We hope in the midst of this terrible tragedy that your family can draw a measure of comfort and hope from the Bibles promises that this is not forever. At Psalms 37:9-11 it promises that wickedness will be done away with forever and that peace will reign in abundance. Also, at Revelation 21:3,4 the true God Jehovah promises that mourning, pain, and death will be gone forever. Our family will keep you in our prayers and hearts.

Condolence From: julie michigan
Condolence: I heart breaks everytime I look at these pictures and I pray that you can make some peace with some of these things I know are true: God had a huge smile on his face when He saw Daniel and Daniel had that big grin on his face back and he was well into our Lord's arms long before anything happened to his body so he did not feel fear or pain. I think God sat him right on His lap and let him pick out any wings he wanted ... God loves us, and while we don't always understand or agree with His plan, we do know He knows what he is doing. I just lost my sister a couple of weeks ago, and I have gone through a range of emotions already, but one thing I know for sure, is that God does know what He is doing -- I realize that will not help from missing them, but I do still talk to my sister and I still feel her here, and Daniel will be with you. He is in a place more beautiful than we could ever imagine and while I know you would rather him be playing in the dirt, I am positive he is getting the best care! I pray for peace in your hearts. God Bless you and your family

Condolence: Dear family of little Daniel, I am so sorry for the tragic loss of your beautiful little boy. We may wonder why such things happen Jesus well knew the Bible statement:" Time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all"[Ecclesiastes 9:11]. He knew that sometimes horrible things just happen. The wonderful future resurrection hope is the promise found at John 5:28,29. Revelation 21:3,4 states that death will be no more. and pain will be no more, the former things will have passed away. Our Creator, Jehovah God, by means of his son Jesus, is going to undo the tragedies that touch our lives today. At that future time we will be able to welcome back our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. As you read these texts from your Bible, may they be of comfort to you now, and forever. Sincerely Dianne Mullins

Condolence From: Mrs. Washington
Condolence: Dear Daniel Barden Family, I just wanted to express my deepest condolence to you over this terrible tragedy. The bible foretold at 2 Timothy 3:1-5, that "In the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here for man would be lovers of themselves,..disobedient to their parents, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, without self-control, fierce, betrayers, headstrong.." just to name a few, so this is why these types of senseless terrible things are happening in this time we are living. But our loving wonderful god Jehovah has put in place a chance for us to see our loved ones again by means of a future resurrection where at John 5:28,29 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgement." I hope these scriptures can be a sense of comfort to you during this horrible time, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely, Mrs. Washington

Condolence: You are not dead. As a matter of fact nobody ever dies. You want to know why? Because you're going to live inside everybody who ever knew you, everyone you ever touched no matter how little. And the people who love you- your mom, your dad, your brothers, sisters, your friends at school- they're never going to stop thinking about you. Or talking about you. They're never going to forget you cause that never goes away. You're never going to die cause you were loved. Because you loved. You're going to live forever. We all will." Tim McDonough

Condolence: I am so very saddened by the recent tragedy. I am a teacher librarian who works with children Daniel's age. I imagined him along with his classmates, being held and comforted by Mrs. Hochsprung, friends, and teachers who also passed. I recently read a book by Dr. Eben Alexander entitled Proof of Heaven, and would like to offer it as a source of comfort in knowing this is only a temporary separation we endure. It gave my soul peace, and hope it might help you find comfort also. God makes a special place for His children, and he lives on in a tremendous place of joy, hope, and light--where it is like Christmas every single day.

Condolence: When Jesus met a widow of the city of Nain and saw that her son had passed away, the Bible account tells us he was moved with pity for her and told her to stop weeping. He then approached and touched the young man who had died and said for him to get up. The young man sat up and started to speak and Jesus gave him to his mother. Jesus was moved with pity so that he resurrected the widow's son! Imagine what that portends for the future of your son, Daniel. Please let the wonderful memories of his time with you comfort you every day until Jesus Christ awakens him from his deep sleep in death and you see him and have him near to you all again! (Luke 7:12-16; Isaiah 26:19; John 5:28,29)My sincere sympathy.

Condolence: I wanted to send my love and prayers to you via the internet and through my spirit. I request angels comfort you in this season. I was drawn to each individual and grieved deeply this entire past weekend. Being a empathetic child of God allowed my spirit to feel the hurt and anger created from the senseless incident that, gave our hearts burdens yet gave heaven 27 more angels. I have kept myself updated with personal remarks regarding your loved ones. I found myself glancing at the pictures on Mr. Barden website and looking at the life seen through Daniels eyes. I imagine what great man he would have grown to be but, I know what child of God he lived to be and that is unforgettable to strangers across the world. The memories you created will have to last you an earth time but, you will create new memories once it is time to live eternal life. This is a moment filled with years where, we loose count and track of time as life takes us from one journey to the next. Allow Daniel beautiful spirit to be remembered and a blue print for ALL of the world to build upon. Someone so young can impact the life of strangers and bring us to our knees, praying for one another and leaning towards the heavens for peace. I will NOT forget your baby and promise to set 7 white balloons free for his birthday each year celebrating who is was here and who he is in heaven. It is a family tradition and I have chosen to add all of your loved ones to our list. We d this in memory of our loved ones who went to heaven and now your guardian angel is the world guardian angel!

Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with you that may our Loving Father Jehovah God wrap his arms around all of you whom are suffering this great loss of this beautiful young child. I truly hope the following insightful information shall bring you HOPE and JOY to know that all is not loss even in a world where others believe there is no hope. Does God Take Children to Become Angels in Heaven? When death strikes a child, friends of the bereaved family may try to comfort them by saying, “God must have needed another angel in heaven.” Does that sound reasonable to you? If it were true that God causes children to die because he needs more angels in heaven, it would imply that he is unfeeling, even cruel. The Bible says otherwise. (Job 34:10) A compassionate father would not snatch a child away from its parents just so that he could enlarge his own family. Yet, no human parent has more compassion than Jehovah, whose dominant quality is love. (1 John 4:8) His great love would never permit him to act in such a harsh way. Ask yourself, ‘Does God need more angels in heaven?’ The Bible states that all of God’s activities are good and perfect. (Deuteronomy 32:4) His work of directly creating millions of angels was a perfect accomplishment, and there was no shortage. (Daniel 7:10) Did God somehow miscalculate the number of angels he needed? Impossible! Surely, Almighty God could never make such an error. True, Jehovah has selected some humans to become spirit creatures as part of his heavenly Kingdom, but they would not be little children at the time of their death.—Revelation 5:9, 10. Another reason why God would not take children from the earth to become angels in heaven is that it would not be in harmony with his original purpose for children. In the Garden of Eden, God told Adam and Eve: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it.” (Genesis 1:28) Children are gifts from God, essential to his original purpose of filling the earth with a righteous human family. He never purposed for children to have their life cut short and then for them to be transformed into spirit creatures. The Bible affirms that children are “an inheritance from Jehovah.” (Psalm 127:3) Would Jehovah, the God of love, take back a gift that he has given parents? Surely not! A child’s untimely death brings great sadness, hurt, and pain. What hope, then, do grieving parents have? The Bible promises that God will resurrect countless millions in a paradise right here on earth. Imagine children—restored with healthy bodies—reunited with their loved ones. (John 5:28, 29) It is God’s will for young ones to grow up, to enjoy life, and to learn about him and his purpose for the earth. Thus, young ones who have died are not angels in heaven but are awaiting a resurrection to a paradise earth. At that time, under the loving care of our Creator, both young and old will delight in worshipping Jehovah God for eternity.

Condolence: Karen Taylor Good wrote this song and I thought it so appropriate. In my dreams, you are alive and well Precious child, precious child In my mind, I see you clear as a bell Precious child, precious child In my soul, there is a hole That can never be filled But in my heart, there is hope 'Cause you are with me still In my heart, you live on Always there never gone Precious child, you left too soon Tho' it may be true that we're apart You will live forever... in my heart In my plans, I was the first to leave Precious child, precious child But in this world, I was left here to grieve Precious child, my precious child In my soul, there is a hole That can never be filled But in my heart there is hope And you are with me still In my heart you live on Always there, never gone Precious child, you left too soon, Tho' it may be true that we're apart You will live forever... in my heart God knows I want to hold you, See you, touch you And maybe there's a heaven And someday I will again Please know you are not forgotten until then In my heart you live on Always there never gone Precious child, you left too soon Tho' it may be true that we're apart You will live forever... in my heart My thoughts and prayers are with you family of precious child Daniel. We grieve with you and for you and pray that you will find some peace in this dark time. We love you precious child Daniel

Condolence: Saying Good-bye Sitting here thinking about you, I here you call my name, MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMY As I turn to see who's calling me I see no one, only hear your voice. I glance across the room, To see if anyone else hears it too. But no one seems to notice the look on my face. I miss you so much, I keep telling you, But you don't seem to hear me. Still you're calling out my name, only louder, As the tears rolled down my face, I glance around the room, And see you amongst my family, and friends The look upon your face says you're peaceful now. I realized it was time to let you go. Although I will always love and miss you. I turn my head to see if anyone notices you. Then I turn back, and you're gone. I hear you, so very gently say, "I love you", "Good- Bye!" "Bye", I said . . .

Condolence: Just wanna bring with your permission, a word of hope in this sadness moment. Please, have your hearts opened for the marvelous promises spoken by Jesus: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4 Also: "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes", says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them." The next moment Daniel opens his eyes and puts this adorable smile, just like this picture, he will see Jesus coming in the clouds and taking him with you all, to live eternal life. This will be a tremendous moment and we need to be prepared to be part of it. May the Lord comfort your hearts, renewing the great hope of the resurrection morning. We, from the Brazilian Seventh-Day Adventist Church have been praying since that horrible Friday morning and we won't forget praying for all of you.

Condolence: WHEN GOD CALLS LITTLE CHILDREN" When God calls little children to dwell with him above, We mortals sometime question the wisdom of his love For no heartache compares with the death of one small child Who does so much to make our world, seem wonderful and mild Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold, So He picks a rosebud, before she can grow old. God knows how much we need them, and so he takes but a few To make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view. Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try, The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye." So when a little child departs we who are left behind Must realize God loves children, Angels are hard to find.

Condolence From: Crystal McPhail
Condolence: My family and I are very sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what you are going through and I would like to leave you with some words that helped me through the loss of my mom she left this note written in many places for myself and my sisters to find "If you can't remember me with smiles and laughter, do not remember me with tears." I know nothing can take the pain away no parent should bury their child but just know The McPhail family in Merritt Island are also mourning your loss. God Bless you.
