Obituary for David Raymond Hutchins
David R. Hutchins of Newtown passed away unexpectedly on Sunday July 14, 2019. Born on February 14, 1964, David was a proud resident of Newtown for the last 17 years. He was a loving and devoted father to his beloved Robert – helping his son launch his broadcasting career as a youngster at Glander Field. Predeceased by his older brother Alan Hutchins of Ohio, David is survived by his son Robert Hutchins, his former wife Alicia Hutchins and extended family.
David was a professional insurance appraiser and owner of Hutchins & Associates - truly a master of his trade. He was immensely loved by his immediate and extended families as well as very respected by his professional colleagues. His engaging, conversant demeanor and his genuine warmth will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
A memorial celebration of David’s life will be held at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St., Newtown Sunday July 21. Friends may greet the family from 1-2 pm followed by remembrances at 2 pm sharp.
