Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we are feeling. Dennis was truly a remarkable man. We enjoyed spending time with him at his restaurant, bonfires, and local watering holes over the years, but what stands out in my mind is the first time I met Dennis. My husband Pat and I were first dating, and, by this time, Pat and Dennis had known each other for many years. Dennis had kind and wonderful things to say about Pat, referring to him as a “White Knight”, and painting a wonderful picture of him to me. Since that day we’ve privately referred to Dennis as our Guardian Angel who helped cement our lives together. That’s how profound of an effect Dennis has had on us. Dennis was larger than life, a true Renaissance man, and we will hold his memory in our hearts forever.
