Obituary for Fatima Rebecca Dunn
Fatima Rebecca Dunn of Newtown, CT passed peacefully surrounded by family on August 10, 2022. She is survived by her husband Michael Dunn, children Maria Lonergan and husband Billy, Zsuzsa Daughety and husband Quincy, Heidi Schuster and grandchildren Dylan, Kelty, Jacob and Joseph.
Fatima was born on August 22,1952 in Guayaquil, Ecuador to Carlos and Piedad Arambulo. At only 3 pounds her fight to not only survive but thrive could be considered a miracle at the time, and her passion for life would be the cornerstone of her story. Fatima emigrated from Ecuador to the United States in her twenties where she spent most of her life.
Despite her small stature Fatima was a larger than life character. Speaking more than six languages and having an eye for fashion Fatima worked for Chanel throughout Europe. Following her time in the fashion industry, Fatima founded and managed her translation company, working for and with the National Labor Relations Board.
Fatima was a lover of animals, cooking, fine arts and travel. Fatima lived her faith in all she did, loving God, her family and friends with passion. Her giving spirit will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be Friday August 19, 2022 in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown ,CT from 9:30 to 11:30am.
