Geraldine T. "Honey" Wojciechowski, age 83 of Newtown died Wednesday April 3rd in Candlewood Valley Health Care Center, New Milford. She was the wife of Chester A. Wojciechowski whom she married on December 2, 1950. Honey was born in Hamtramck, Michigan on January 22, 1930 the daughter of the late Jacob and Marie (Balcar) Thomas. A resident of Newtown since 1976, Mrs. Wojciechowski was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church. She loved antiques, quilting and family. In addition to her husband, survivors include a son Mark Wojciechowski (Karin) of New York, 3 daughters, Mary Wojciechowski of Montana, Margaret Manz (Leonard) of Connecticut and Teresa Accashian (David) of Colorado and 9 grandchildren, Sam, Michael, John, Charles, Thomas, Leonard III, (Alana), Leah, Melynda, Sadie Jo and a great grandson, Leonard IV. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church Saturday April 6th at 11:00am. Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery.
