Jeffrey Clifford Minard, 74, of Southbury, CT, died Saturday August 18th at Danbury Hospital. He was born July 5, 1944 in Albany, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Audrey Minard. Jeffrey grew up on Long Island, NY and spent his later years in Northern Westchester and Connecticut.

He is survived by his wife Marianne, his children: Gregory Minard and his wife Julie of South Salem, NY, Jason Minard and his wife Mary Garrett of New York City and his daughter Amanda Minard of Southbury, CT, and his 5 grandchildren- Laura, Michael, Andrew, Virginia and Allen Minard. He is also survived by his sister Nea Dwyer and her husband Michael of Woodstock, GA and his nephew and 3 nieces, Brad, Jennifer, Lauren and Robin.

Jeffrey was a loving and caring father and husband. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family, including his children and grandchildren. He had a witty sense of humor and a genuine spirit of kindness.

Jeffrey received his undergraduate degree from LIU C.W. Post and later received his PhD in Psychology from The Union Institute. He had a successful career for many years as an industrial psychologist and as a career consultant.

The family will receive friends at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St., Newtown, CT on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 4pm - 8pm.
