Joan B. Jacob, 89, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022 in Newtown, Connecticut. She was born June 19, 1932 to George and Anna Stefanik in Bridgeport, Connecticut. On June 30, 1951 she married Tom Jacob at St. Charles Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Joan enjoyed dancing, painting and walking.
Survivors include her sister Sandy Wasik of Ansonia, Connecticut, her 2 daughters and her 2 sons, Patricia Gibson of Metuchen, New Jersey, Kathy Tredennick of Newtown, Connecticut, Thomas Jacob Jr. of St. Augustine, Florida, and Robert Jacob of Summerfield, North Carolina; 5 grandchildren Megan, Shannon, Daniel, Christopher and Emily; 3 great grandchildren Jackson, Grayson and Melia; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6th from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Honan Funeral Home in Newtown, Connecticut. Services will be held at 10:30am on Monday day March 7th at St. Rose Catholic Church in Newtown Connecticut.
