Joycelyn Kowats, 44, beloved wife of Donald J. Kowats, Jr. of Newtown died unexpectedly February 25, 2010 at her home.
She was born in Bridgeport December 3, 1965 a daughter of Gerald Cavaliere of Newtown and the late Linda (Roe) Cavaliere. Joycelyn was a teacher at Misty Morning Daycare Center in Newtown. She was an active member of A.A. Joycelyn enjoyed spending time with her family and boating.
In addition to her husband and father, Joycelyn is survived by her daughters, Sarah Lyn and Kristina Lyn Kowats. She was preceded in death by a daughter Stephanie Lyn Kowats and by two brothers, Gerald Cavaliere, Jr. and Jeffrey Cavaliere.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday March 2, 2010 at 10:00am in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00pm. To leave an online condolence visit http://www.honanfh.com
