Julius (Jay) Black of Newtown entered into eternal rest on November 2nd 2022. He was born in Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Portsmouth Va. He moved to CT. with his family in1964 and has been a lifelong resident since returning from service in The United States Marine Corps. and The United States Army. Upon returning he worked at Harvey Hubbell and Curtis packaging until retirement. He is predeceased by his parents Molly Black Galloway and William J Black and two brothers Jonathon Black and Peter Black. He is survived by brothers William Black of Newtown, Michael Black of Fairfield and Jeffery Black of Newtown and sisters Julie Miller of Raymond MS. and Jana Emmerthal of Sandy Hook. There are also several nieces and nephews and three grand nephews.
