Mrs. Fischer was my 6th grade science teacher. She was one of the warmest and most engaging teachers I ever had. She taught us how to organize a notebook in a way that framed my habits for life and contributed to every academic success and professional success I ever had. She was passionate and lovely back then and again about 20 years later when I saw her when I was substitute teaching. What a wonderful woman. I remember her often. My heartfelt sympathies to her friends and family.
