Obituary for Marcus Anthony "Marc" Amaral
Marcus A. Amaral of Newtown passed away on January 24th, 2021 at the age of 82. Those who will miss him most are his lovely wife Carol; his son Neal; his brother Daniel and wife Carol and their daughters, Cheryl, Cathy and Cindy and his nieces Cheryl and Kim. Until his retirement, Marcus was the Parts Manager of Amaral Motors.
In the words of Frank Sinatra, Marcus did it his way. He'll be missed as much as remembered for his brutal, hold-nothing-back honesty. For all that gruffness, though, he acted generously, randomly, and in private. Marcus also loved vintage cars, food, dogs and raw comedy.
Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St. Newtown Saturday February 6, 2021 from 11:00am to 1:00pm with a prayer service to follow. Interment will in St. Rose Cemetery.
