Mary Mildred (Gross) Maguire of Newtown died November 16, 2009 at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center, Ridgefield. She was the wife of the late James P. “Shorty” Maguire, Jr. Survivors include two sons, James P. Maguire III and his wife Kathy, Thomas J. Maguire and his wife Lora and four grandchildren. Jamie, Michael, T.J. and Rachel.
At the request of Mrs. Maguire all services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to St. Rose of Lima Church Memorial Fund, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, CT or the American Red Cross, 158 Brooklawn Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604-2095.
