• Pauline Fazio, 82, died August 13th with her family by her side in Danbury.


Pauline grew up in Keene, NH. She married her late husband Joseph, and lived in Newtown over 50 years.

She loved Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune (and would be so pleased with the recent host choices that they made.)

She was a champion for her family and instilled the very best core values in each of us. Her sense of humor and smile brightened our days.

The laughter from our most recent family reunions will carry us forward and always remind us of her unconditional love, silliness and great meatballs.

She will be missed and is survived by her son
Carl Fazio (wife Helena, grandson Alex); son Paul Fazio; daughter Jodi McPherson ( husband John, granddaughter Caleigh, grandson Owen); sister Joan Gallup, brother Joe Gallup (wife Trudy); sister Melinda Galloway.

Friends may can at the Honan Funeral Home 58 Main St. Newtown, CT on Wed. Aug. 18th from 4-7 PM.

A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday August 19th at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Newtown.




In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations can be made to St. Jude or Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT.
