Obituary for Richard E. "Rich" Hillmann Sr.
"It's with great sadness that we share the passing of our father Richard E. Hillmann Sr. on August 17, 2019. He was born on February 25, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York and lived his childhood years in Yonkers, New York. Dad took every medical struggle with the utmost strength and hopefulness and we were honored to be by his side through it all.
Rich is survived by his children Rich and Laurie, his daughter in law Kim and the highlight of his everyday, cherished grandson Tanner. Many Marine Corp. Brothers, neighbors and business friends brought joy his life.
Rich served in the United States Marine Corp. and fought in the battle of Khe Sanh, being a Marine made him so proud. He resided in Brewster, New York and owned his own business, Mazzille Hillmann & Thornton Inc.
Services are to be held on Friday August 23, 2019 from 9am to 11am with a private celebration to follow.
