Obituary for Roberta Theresa Magnante (Granchelli)
Roberta Granchelli Magnante age 82 of Newtown, formerly of Yorktown Heights NY, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on May 24, 2021. She will be missed by her husband of 61 years Frank Magnante and their four children; Dawn Meyerski (Jim Meyerski) ; JoAnn LiVolsi (Tom Friary); Frank Magnante Jr. (Cherie Magnante); Chris Magnante (Lori Magnante) and her nine grandchildren, Jamie, Stephen, Justin, TJ, Jason, Frankie, Nick, Joseph, Minda, and 2 Great Grandchildren, Ryder and Jaxson.
Roberta loved spending time with her family and traveling with her husband. She enjoyed her winters in Florida. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing mahjong, loved the excitement of the Casinos and she was an amazing cook. She had a life full of love and loved living life.
Visitation will be held at Honan Funeral Home 58 Main St, Newtown Thursday May 27th between the hours of 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 28th at 10:30 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Rd., Newtown, Connecticut.
