Ronald Paul Tardiff, 72 of Newtown passed away June 10, 2021 at Danbury Hospital with his beloved family at his side. He was born in Brooklyn, NY August 30, 1948 a son of the late Paul and Bertha (Barr) Tardiff. Ron was longtime driver for Casey Fuel of Ridgefield until his retirement. He then operated Tardiff and Sons Lawn Care part-time. Ron served in the US Navy from 1965-1971. An avid Yankee and Las Vegas Raider Fan, he was a member of VFW Post 149 in Danbury. Ron will be remembered as loving caring father to his beloved family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie E. (Brown) Tardiff who passed away last month and a sister, Carolyn Roman. Survivors include 2 sons, Ronald P. Tardiff, Jr. and his wife Marcia and John E. Tardiff all of Bethel; a daughter, Nicole Tardiff of Newtown and 2 grandchildren, Colin and Isabella Tardiff.
Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St., Newtown Thursday June 17th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Interment will Military Honors will be Friday June 18th at 10:30am at Newtown Village Cemetery.
