Message to the Family: Dear Farrell Family, we are deeply saddened by Rosa's passing. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Moving up here to Connecticut at the same time was made easier for us by our frequent get togethers at your home. We think that's because Rosa always made us feel like family whenever we visited. We will forever remember Rosa from the barbecues, Oktoberfests and St Patrick's Days, simply sitting around the fire pit chatting, as well as the marathon craft days, and the marathon cookie baking days. It always comes back to the cookies; if you were ever lucky enough to get a box, you know why! To a beautiful friend taken all too soon... God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you, and whispered "Come to me". With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. Message to the Family: I first met Rosa when her and Terence started dating.....this was back in the 90s. I had known Terence and his family for quite some time at that point, and thought he came from one of the nicest families I had ever met. I instantly liked Rosa and knew that Terence was really, really happy. She always seemed so "up" and struck me as a very happy, positive person. I thought their personalities complimented each other very well and knew that they would be happy together. Although over the years I had lost touch with them, but thanks to Facebook, we were able to reconnect. I am so sorry this has happened and I pray that Terence and his children find the strength to get through this.....sometimes words seem so insignificant......I wish I could make this better for them. Rest on peace Rosa.....it was truly and honor and pleasure to have known you.

Message to the Family: Rosa, I will always remember the time that we first met many years ago at Oppenheimer. You trained me with patience and kindness that led to years of friendship. The days when we would drive in from Brooklyn to work in Manhattan with all types of Italian Food our mom's made the night before. Everyone in the office would try our first and ask us for more. For the weekends that I would spend at your house in New Jersey where we would shop all day and go out drinking and dancing till 2:30 in the morning. (oh boy and the times when Terence was mad and saying where were we all day) My heart breaks that you are gone, but know in my heart you are not in any more pain. I know you will watch over your children and your husband, and will be their in spirit. To Terence, Ryan and Caitlin remember all the happy memories of your wife/mom especially when you are sad.
