Thomas M. Lacko, 72, of Naugatuck, passed away peacefully on May 5th after a brief illness. He was in his home in Naugatuck surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Stamford on July 3, 1950, the eldest son of the late Lester and Genevieve Lacko formerly of Newtown.
Tommy was the happiest person you could ever meet. He always had a smile on his face, and he could light up a room with it. He was a lifelong Mets and Yankees fan. Tommy loved spending time with his family and friends, as well as the many people from Community Systems, Inc. who took such wonderful care of him. He was well loved by all and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his siblings Karen Marron, and her husband Stephen, their children Ryan and Ashley, all of Newtown, Elizabeth Randall of Southbury and her son Adam, Steven Lacko of Maine, and his uncle John Lacko of Orange.
A service will be held on June 3rd from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Burial will be immediately following the service at St. Rose Cemetery, Sandy Hook.
