Obituary for Tyler Alden Hoffman

Tyler Alden Hoffman, 24 of Sandy Hook died unexpectedly April 28, 2018. He was born in Danbury March 11, 1994 a son of Theodore Hoffman of Woodbury and Catherine Kean of Sandy Hook. Tyler was a graduate of Newtown High School and was employed as a mechanic for Brookside Auto Salvage of Waterbury. He was a member of Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire and Rescue and was an apprentice Free Mason. In addition to his parents, Tyler is survived by a brother, Michael Morrison of Plainville; his Paternal Grandmother, Nancy Coles of Woodbury; his aunts and uncles, Debbie Glen of Woodbury, Arthur Kean of Norwalk, Kevin Kean of New Milford, Betty Viglione of Newtown, Dennis Kean of Texas, Julie Kean of New Milford, Brian Kean of Newtown, Margaret Niquette of Southbury and Veronica Kean of Danbury and numerous cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church, Newtown Friday May 4 at 10:30am. Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery. Friends may call at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St. Newtown Thursday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
