Stanley M. Frystak, 84, of Sandy Hook, passed away on April 4, 2014 in his home after a lengthy illness. Born November 11, 1929, he was the youngest of 10 children. He was a Navy Veteran and served in Korea and Italy. While in Italy he met Emilia, the love of his life. They were married for 50 years. Emilia predeceased him. He is survived by his nephews, Joseph Bailey and wife, Mariana of Mountain Home Arkansas, Raffaele Negri and wife, Rosaria of Casserta Italy, his niece, Carol Jean Votipka of Mount Vernon Washington, his best friend, John Landolfi and wife Yvonne of Sandy Hook, his godchildren, Marc Landolfi of Hartsdale, NY, and Kristen Landolfi of Stamford, CT, and his faithful dog, Sunny-boy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church Wednesday April 9th at 11:00am. Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery. Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 10:45am.
