Obituary for Hazel Eileen Falconer (Ramberg)

Hazel Eileen Falconer, 81, a longtime resident of Newtown, died peacefully Thursday May 21st after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease at Masonicare at Newtown. She was born on 11/24/1933 in Harris, Minnesota a daughter of the late Victor and Edith (Carlson) Ramberg. Hazel was employed as a Nurse’s Aide at Buckingham Gardens (now Masonicare at Newtown) for over twenty years. She was predeceased by her husband Ward Falconer and two brothers Warren Ramberg and Harland Ramberg. She is survived by three sons; Mitch Falconer of Southbury, Barry Falconer of Carmel, NY and Eric Falconer and his wife Wanda and granddaughter Hanna Falconer all of Oxford. She is also survived by two sisters Jeanette Lokken and Delorah Peterson of Minnesota. Calling hours will be Tuesday May 26th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday May 27th at 11:00am at Newtown Village Cemetery.
