Mitchell Alan Falconer, 58 of Southbury formerly of Newtown passed away unexpectedly July 20, 2015. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on February 1, 1957 a son of the late Ward and Hazel (Ramberg) Falconer. Mitch moved to Newtown with his family in 1972 and was a graduate of Newtown High School, Class of 1975. Following high school he was a machinist for 17 years at DuPont in Newtown before he retired. Mitch was a social member of VFW Post 308 and an avid sports fan especially of Minnesota teams. He is survived by his girlfriend, Cathy Bagmeyer of Southbury; 2 brothers, Barry Falconer of Carmel, NY and Eric Falconer and his wife Wanda of Oxford; and a niece Hannah Falconer.
