Obituary for Mildred Josephine Orloski (Koziol)

Mildred Josephine Orloski (Koziol)
Mildred Orloski, 90, died October 1 at Glen Hill in Danbury. Born in Scranton, PA she is one
of 12 children. She is the daughter of John and Anna Koziol. Millie moved to Connecticut in the
mid 1940's where she met and married Stanley Orloski. They lived several years in
Bridgeport and then moved to Fairfield to raise a family.

Millie worked at a bakery, Remington Rand as well as General Electric. Her focus was on
her family, to whom she dedicated herself. She also enjoyed assisting her husband's
remodeling and landscaping efforts at home by holding the ladder, paintbrush, or chainsaw.
Millie was particularly proud of her resemblance to the young Elizabeth Taylor. Millie was
happy and high-spirited. Her most valuable asset was her ability to listen.

After her husband retired, Millie and Stan visited many of our National Parks, historical sites and
their children scattered across the U.S. Even though Millie enjoyed traveling, she found being at home was the best place of all. She loved her grandchildren and did everything she could to make sure that they grew up to be fashionable, educated and conscientious adults.

Beautiful mother, beautiful friend and happy all the way to the end.

Mrs. Orloski is survived by her 3 daughters, Linda Kerrick of Maryland, Lorraine Nanavaty of
Connecticut and Denise Orloski of California, as well as 6 grandchildren.

Thank you Millie. Rest in Peace.
