I have just been informed of Jean's passing. What a loss for literacy. I have worked with many individuals in the pursuit of literacy for all but no one had the energy and expertise that Jean possessed to accomplish this pursuit. Jean's footprints will be always there for anyone to follow. It truly was a pleasure to have Jean as a colleague in literacy. My prayers and condolences to all Jean's family
