Alice Mary was always simply our 'cousin': her mother Libby was a 1st cousin of my mother Rose Mary Madden Noonan (1918-2005). I remember Alice Mary's wonderful generosity and helpfulness. When our family lived in Rhode Island, Alice Mary would often knock on the door, having driven from Sandy Hook just to say hello, bringing news of the Sandy Hook cousins and often lending a helpful hand. She and my mother were also good friends, and she was the godmother of my sister Maureen Noonan of Fairfield. Please accept my deep sympathy: I am so sorry to learn of this loss of a family member.
