Obituary for Bryce Peter Klingel

Bryce Peter Klingel
Bryce Peter Klingel
Bryce Klingel was born on May 8, 2012 and he left his loving home on earth to take his place among the angels in heaven on December 7, 2015.
His life was far too brief. But it was beautifully lived.
Bryce was a wonderful blend of energy, curiosity, sweetness and mischief. He battled his lifelong illness like a great warrior. A laughing, teasing, running, jumping, hugging, kissing, demanding and ferocious little warrior.
He loved being outside. Just like Daddy.
He would not suffer a fool. Just like Mommy.
He idolized his big brother Connor and preferred his company to anyone else.
We called him "Our Little King". Because he was.
Bryce played hard and he made you forget he was ill. The surgeons would say "we cautiously hope he will recover from this surgery in four weeks." And he would be running amok in four days. Bryce had strength and courage that we are not likely to witness in another person again.
He told the truth. He loved with all his might and we loved him with all of ours.
Bryce lived everyday as if there was no tomorrow, like he intuitively understood that his whole life would have to be packed into 3 1/2 short years. This wise little boy leaves us having taught the most significant lesson we will learn in our own lifetimes:
To be happy, free and peaceful; to understand what this life is all about. You have to live like Bryce did from the day he was born; like you don't have forever to figure out how to be alive and content. You have to live like you are dying.
Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
-Mary Oliver
Bryce is survived by his loving and beloved parents, Peter and Bobbi-Jo Klingel, his beloved big brother and hero, Connor all of Bethel along with his Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and countless friends and admirers.
You are in our hearts and minds forever and ever Little King. Now you go and play and take our love with you until we meet again.
