There are just so many wonderful stories of Uncle Charlie. It was not just his charming smile, or the way he would say how beautiful me and all my sisters are, he just had a larger-than-life way about him. When he spoke to me, I loved to listen to him. He knew best! My story is not the funniest, but definitely the most memorable for me. All families came together to celebrate Aunti Dot and U. Tommy's 25th Wedding Anniversary. What a great party -- As always, Uncle Charlie doing his signature YMCA, which always got the party started, followed by the entire family dancing in one big circle to "We Are Family", and it never failed -- the four Ds and my sisters and I would jump in the middle to celebrate the part of -- "I got all my sisters and me." By the end of the party he got up on the stage (I believe there was a stage) to say a few words and to invite my sisters and I to Denise's wedding. You would of thought we were told that we just won the mega millions - lol. How excited we all were to be going and to be able to celebrate and dance the night away at Denise's wedding. I wish I had spent more time with Uncle Charlie. He loved to celebrate, but most of all he loved to celebrate FAMILY! I value that most of all. I will miss him and hold him dear to my heart always.
