Charles J. Ruggiero Jr. 50, of Watertown, passed away Tues. Sept. 27., after a long battle with cancer. Chuck as he was known, was lifelong fan of the New York Yankees, was a loving husband and caring stepfather. He worked as a custodian at Newtown High School among a dedicated crew of friends and colleagues.
He leaves behind his wife, Maria Ruggiero, stepdaughter Nicole Quarles, sister Jennie Hayes, and a large family of brothers in law and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be held at the Newtown Village Cemetery, Elm Drive, Newtown, on Thurs. Sept. 29 at 3PM.
