He attended the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce and Business Administration. He worked in real estate and mortgage financing.
Christopher liked reading about history, politics and people. He enjoyed music, both modern and classical. He also enjoyed watching the European Grand Prix Auto Races, professional tennis and the New York Yankees. Most of all, he enjoyed watching The Crimson Tide, his college’s football team from the University of Alabama, win their games. Christopher liked playing tennis and giving lessons when asked. He liked hiking, cross-country skiing, going to the theater and fine dining. He was happy to cheer for young Ryan, his nephew, at his ball games. He especially enjoyed passing time and holidays with his family, whom he loved with all his heart. He is survived by his mother, Helen I. Pack of Sandy Hook, his sister, Tacy Pack of Brookfield, his sister Helen Shipman and her husband, Robert Shipman, of Old Greenwich, his sister-in-law, Anne Marie Pack of Manalapan, NJ, his nieces, Jessica Marion of Brookfield, Laura Cummings and her husband, Troy Cummings of Naugatuck, and Molly Shipman and her fiancé, Dave Marinaccio of Thomaston, his nephews, Jonathan and Michael Pack of Manalapan, NJ, his great nephew, Ryan Tombline of Brookfield, and six cousins. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at 1:00 pm at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 85 Mt. Pleasant Road (Route 25), Newtown.
