I personally have much to grieve at the loss of Chris and much to celebrate in what he has left for so many of us. Conversations with Chris about what education should be, about how students need to be met where they are and for who they are remain with me as inspiration. His very real contribution to giving life to his ideas remain with me as hope. I am grateful to have benefited from his life and add my sorrow to the many who grieve our loss.
