Condolence: Cheryl, My heart breaks for you and your family. Chris was such a joyful presence at any gathering at Providence. He was always so much fun to be around. I didn't have the fortune to see you much after college, but I can only imagine that he was a wonderful family man, great husband and fun-loving father. My love, thoughts and prayers are with you, and will be for a long time. I hope that the love and support from your family and friends will keep you strong during this terrible time. -Chrissie

Please know that we are deeply sorry for your loss and will keep you in our prayers.
Chris was a wonderful person and we have many fond memories of clam/steam bakes, raking leaves, shoveling snow and just enjoying the company of each other in the neighborhood. May God's love give you the strength you need to get you through this difficult time.
With all our love and sympathy,
Joe, Paula, Patrick, Emily, and Christopher Svitek

Condolence From: Gail & Burke Carter
Condolence: First, we would like to express our condolences and sypathy the Chris's family; Cheryl, the children, Charlotte, William & Jack, Chris's parents, our great freinds for 41 years, Carol & Roger, his brother Todd and wife Julie. And also to Cheryl's parents, Tyra and Ray.

When Gail told me of Chris's passing I was lost for words. There was just no way to express the shock and emptiness that we felt. We enjoyed Chris and his family for so many years it was so difficult to comprehend that he was gone.

As Carol & Roger will confirm, I am not normally speechless. It has taken a while, but I have composed myself enough and would like to share some fond memories of Chris from a long time ago.

I feel I am fortunate to have had a positive impact on his life. I'm certain that Carol & Roger have not yet forgiven me for teaching a very young Chris the art of flinging a pea across a dining room with the aid of a spoon. Particularly when it was the dining room of a rather nice restaurant in Maine. I hope he continued to practice that artform and even passed it along to his children.

We enjoyed so many great times with Young Chris and his family. As time moved on and Chris moved on to Highschool, college and eventually the great marketplace, our contact diminished. But we always cherished the memory of the "boy." Chris may have grown chronologically and physically and, he was always mature beyond his age, but to us, he was still the "boy."

We shall miss the boy.

With love and affection,

Gail & Burke Carter
