Clarence F. Hull, age 90 of Southbury died July 15, 2011 at his home. Mr. Hull was the husband of the late Veronica (Ferencz) Hull. He was born in Fairfield January 17, 1921 a son of the late Charles and Minnie Hull. Clarence was a longtime resident of Toddy Hill Road in the Sandy Hook section of Newtown and had previously resided in Fairfield and in the Shady Rest section of Sandy Hook. Clarence was employed as a Welder for 38 years for Wire Tex Manufacturing of Bridgeport until his retirement.
Survivors include a son, Ronald C. Hull and his wife Linda of Melbourne, FL; 2 daughters, Jo-Anne Haag and her husband Bob of Sandy Hook and Donna J. Murchison of Southbury; 2 brothers, Lester Hull of Brooklyn, CT and Donald Hull of New Hampshire; 2 sisters, Martha Furlong and Betty Bognar both of Fairfield; 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 5 great- great grandchildren. Clarence was predeceased by a grandson, Stephen Paul Haag.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday July 23, 2011 at 2:00pm in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St. Newtown. Friends may call Saturday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm prior to the service.
