David Patrick Hogan passed away unexpectedly on Monday March 5th at his home in Waterbury, Connecticut. David was born in Glens Falls, New York on June 22,1981. He attended school in Danbury, Connecticut and graduated in 1999 from Danbury High. He received his BS from Sacred Heart University. David enjoyed his work in construction management. David also served 8 years with the Connecticut National Guard where he attained the rank of 1st lieutenant. He is survived by his beloved daughter Victoria, as well as his parents Daniel Hogan of Greenwood Village, Colorado and his mother Nora Hogan of Cape May, NJ. He also has 3 brothers Christian Morey, Daniel Hogan, and Ryan Hogan and a sister Emily Hogan. He is predeceased by his best friend and brother, Kevin.
He was a great big brother and mentor to his siblings. He is remembered for his great smile and good heart. Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours Monday March 12th from 6 to 8pm at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St., Newtown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, Tuesday at 10:30am. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Wooster Cemetery in Danbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
