Eleanor Fetchick, 79 of Newtown, previously of Norwalk and Yonkers, NY, passed away peacefully November 2nd in her home after a long struggle with Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Eleanor loved gardening, had a passion for antiques and passed those same passions on to her children and grandchildren. She was an avid UCONN Huskies Fan and supported her husband’s life long love of golf.

She is survived by her husband Joe of 58 years, her three sisters, two brothers, four children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Eleanor will be remembered with a private family service to be held in her birthplace of Yonkers NY.
