John A. Capozziello, Jr., 64 of Sandy Hook died December 22, 2015 in Danbury Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport on August 11, 1951 a son of the late John A. and Frances (Rosen) Capozziello, Sr. John grew up in Sandy Hook and attended Newtown Schools. He was a creative self-employed house painter. John loved shooting pool. He is survived by his children; John A. Sherwood of New Milford and Danielle Capozziello of Newtown; his longtime companion, Mary Potter of Newtown and 7 brothers and sisters and their families. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday December 29th at 7:00pn in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St., Newtown. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery will be private. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
