My Dad, John, was a beautifully soul to all those that he touched and came into contact with. Mainly because he was uncontainably kind, loving, and forgiving, even amongst those who may not have been deserving. He did not distinguish deserving or not, did not cast judgement, or even compare. He truly embodied love in the most linear sense. He often told me, Get hungry, honey, in regards to following dreams that I was apprehensive to accomplish. He motivated, and encouraged my brother and I, through every recorder concert, and swim meet regardless of its weight; to him, any moment with his children was timeless and priceless. He was an avid reader, teacher and coach. He had a way of making anyone feel safe with his continuous warmth and faith in people; an unrequited request considering his painful loss of his love so soon. He raised my brother and I, with continued strength and unconditional love. I am so lucky to have known him in this lifetime not only as a person, but as my father. I will forever miss his colors and his voice, always encouraging us to DREAM BIG. How lucky we are to have had you, our angel forever.
